TWENTY TO MAKE: SUGAR CATS

Some are so realistic you have to look twice. Here are 20 cute kitties like Cordelia curled up on her back playing with a toy made from modelling paste, sugar pearls, fondant, food colour powder, vodka for painting and created just with a Dresden tool, small paintbrush and fine palette knife. Her characterful kitty friends include a Siamese, a Burman, a Ragdoll and lots of moggies including a ginger tom, a tabby and a tortoiseshell and some very cute kittens to make. The author makes this all very easy with all the component parts pictured and very clear step-by-step instructions and an informative section on tools and materials like edible ink felt tip pens and fondant (sugar paste). Easy, fun and long lasting and sure to delight and made using widely available and inexpensive materials. Sweet! 48 page softback, gorgeous colour.
