ROOTS, ROCK, REMIXED CD

Featuring an all-star cast including Fort Knox Five, and the Bombay Dub Orchestra and DJ Spooky, each puts a unique fingerprint on one of Bob Marley's songs. Thus, we get a brilliantly skittery and funky mix of 'Small Axe' from Paul & Price, and a rich but restrained reading of 'Soul Shakedown Party' by Afrodisiac Sound System. Other tracks include Lively Up Yourself, Sun is Shining, Soul Rebel, African Herbsman, Rainbow Country and Trenchtown Rock among the 12 tracks on this first remix album approved by the Marley family.
