Published by Batsford in the Beautiful Britain Vintage Notebooks series, this quality lined notebook of 144 pages has a handy little wallet inside the back cover for clippings and receipts etc. and a pink elastic fastener to keep everything safe. The book The Old Inns of England by A. E. Richardson was first published by B. T. Batsford in 1934. The dust jacket illustration by Brian Cook, loosely based on The Old Bell at Hurley in Berkshire, was part of the series and has here been reproduced in bold colour and hard cover design in what is now an iconic flat poster style.
