THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE STORY COLLECTION

THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE STORY COLLECTION

THE REV W. AWDRY    Book Number: 86275    Product format: Hardback

This is the story about Thomas the Tank Engine, who worked with his engine friends on The Fat Controller's Railway on the Island of Sodor. Thomas was a cheeky little engine who helped the big engines by pulling their coaches to and from the BIG Station. But what Thomas really wanted was his very own Branch Line. That way he would be a Really Useful Engine. Sometimes he liked to play tricks on other engines like Gordon who goes faster and faster and faster, startling the birds from the trees and the horse in the field. Puff! Puff! Panted poor Thomas. The second story in the collection of three is A Visit to London. Thomas is chosen to take Lord and Lady Hatt to London to meet the Queen! They cross by ferry and arrive at Greenwich Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark, the Tower of London, go under Tower Bridge which raises its roadway for them, The Shard, and finally to meet the Queen who thanked the Fat Controller for running such a fine Railway. Thomas beamed from buffer to buffer. The last story is Three Cheers for Thomas the Tank Engine. Hoorah! With map of the island and jolly big colourful friendly faced engines and super-realistic marks, these truly are three very exciting adventures. 10" x 11", colour.
