CAROLE KING TAPESTRY VINYL LP

CAROLE KING TAPESTRY VINYL LP

CAROLE KING    Book Number: 85248    Product format: Unknown

Depicting her own hand-stitched tapestry on the double page interior, the classic image on the album cover is of a very young Carole King in sweater and jeans, barefoot in a window seat and together with her beautiful kitty cat, staring wistfully at the camera. The 14 tracks on this vinyl LP are I Feel the Earth Move (Under My Feet), So Far Away (Does Anybody Stay in One Place Anymore?), It's Too Late, Home Again, Beautiful (You've Got to Get Up Every Morning with A Smile On Your Face), Way Over Yonder (Is a Place That I Know) and the previously unreleased Out In the Cold, originally recorded in 1971. Side Two tracks are the very famous You've Got A Friend, Where You Lead, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?, Smackwater Jack, the title track Tapestry, and the ever-popular (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman with words and music by Gerry Goffin, Carole King and Jerry Wexler, the winning combination! That track was recorded in New York in 1967. The final track is Smackwater Jack in a previously unreleased live version recorded in May 1973 in Boston. Produced by Lou Adler and engineered by Hank Cicalo.
