A key name in British tractor history from their early beginnings through to the 1960s, this is the story of the David Brown Tractor Company in the 1970s when the use of these well-loved tractors expanded from working on the farm to the production of industrial models for use on highways. We look at a number of models hard at work in a variety of situations. In this final instalment of the story we come up to date with numerous purchasers, including CASE IH, and the subsequent development and production of new machines.
