There are wonderfully tangy okra stews made with tablespoons of pomegranate molasses, delicious Stuffed Vine Leaves, Chilli and Garlic Pickled Aubergines, Smoked Aubergine and Tahini Dip and classic Fattoush chopped vegetable, herb and fried flatbread salad, crunchy and delicious. Desserts like Date and Cinnamon Squares and very old Arabic Knafeh with rose water and slithered Iranian pistachios, Peanut Honeycomb... we are getting carried away.
