I-SPY PETS: When Human Friendship Is Not Enough

I-SPY PETS: When Human Friendship Is Not Enough

SAM JORDISON    Book Number: 84374    Product format: Paperback

A grown-up version of the classic 1960s I-Spy books which have the same kind of format as the Ladybird small hardbacks. It is based on the simple concept "I spy with my little eye" game, but instead all the tedious stuff is gone and here are genuine opportunities to use your sleuthing skills. Britain is overrun with animals, but so long as you don't venture into town centres on Friday and Saturday nights, you can generally avoid them. It's nice to judge people depending on the kind of pets they own and every time you spot something pictured in your book, you earn a point and when your score totals over 250 you can award yourself second class honours and if under 250, you're a bad doggy and you won't get a treat. Spot Evil Cat (a tiny black furry kitten, brown glinting eyes only visible), a dog with pompoms, a dog and bone (I think we mean phone), Innuendo Cat (white cat staring at camera open mouth, big green eyes), frightening sheep, a dog in a bag, and a creepy pet (some kind of toad). With certificate at the end of the book based on the I-Spy series created in 1948 full of fun facts. Colour illus. 52pp.
