Exceeded expectations... Have your say about Bibliophile

I am a big fan of Bibliophile Books and have had several consignments of books from you. They have all exceeded expectations and I have another batch on order at present. Thanks to you all. Please keep up the good work!

As I am online much of the time I like to access your website and online catalogues. Please could you stop sending me the paper version of the catalogue as I rarely even open the wrapper nowadays, preferring 'virtual' methods of browsing and ordering. As they say, 'every little helps'.

Thanks again

Very best wishes to all (including cats)

Perusing the paper edition

... there is nothing like settling down in a comfortable chair, cat on lap and perusing the paper edition and then grasping a felt tip pen and making bold lines and asterisks with items that catch ones eye on first flicking through. Then the best bit, start again, refill wine glass, settle cat again and go through reading every line of every book review, well not the military section, and confirm ones choice.Only then do I want to go on line and order my books. Yes I know it's not green but lets face it, the paper of Bibliophile is hardly glossy Vogue quality and is easily recycled.

e-enabled' customers

This way of communicating is great. I read it straight away and can decide "yes" or "no" quickly. I can file in in my "Bibliophile" folder on my pc and keep for a month or so before having to delete it. (with no paper waste !!).

I'm particularly pleased to be saving your use of paper and all the assocated costs in producing and distributing the monthly catalogue. I'd like to think your other 'e-enabled' customers feel the same.

I enjoy these e-versions just as much as the old paper one. It's the right way forward in both efficiency and in marketing terms. Please share these thoughts with Annie.

Recession is good for remainders!

Quite honestly, I couldn't afford to read if it weren't for remainders. I can't use libraries because of my congenital tardiness in returning borrowed books, and I certainly can't afford to buy them new. What I get to read, I either pick up at bin sales or buy remaindered. I am eternally grateful for this practice.

An excellent site - I'm very impressed. It's like going to a bookshop, and I hate bookshops 'cos it takes me hours to get out again.
